Join the Proguard listserv for probate and guardianship issues in Miami-Dade County. Proguard is sponsored and monitored through the Probate and Guardianship Committee of the Dade County Bar Association. The signup instructions are set forth below:
GALA is designed to share knowledge in the Probate
and Guardianship field at the Paralegal/Legal Assistant level.
(Although we even have members who are Judicial Assistants (2), lawyers
(3) and office administrators (2).
If you scan through the messages posted on our list you will see some
great questions have been asked.... and answered. We currently have
lots of knowledge (years of working experience in our
50+ members) about the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, the Seventeenth, 13th
and 6th. I am trying to sign on members from all over the state. Don?t
we all end up having to file something outside our county? Of course we
do. So who better to ask what the procedure is, than the legal
assistant in that county.
Once you are a member you can look under "Files" and you will see we
have posted the Procedural Rules for each of Miami-Dade County's four
divisions. I am happy to entertain ideas for additional postings.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
